Currently, Ann-Hua Rainbow Project calls for a donation level of $60USD per year for each student supported in China. We have been sending $60 for each supported student in China in the previous school year. We have received donations ranging from $5 from our young students up to $1000 a year from some long term supporters. The Rainbow Project operates with zero overhead (normal operating costs incur, such as fee for fund distribution to China, cost of check printing.) The team members pay their own phone bills when they contact schools in China. Every dollar you donate is used to help the needy students and schools in China. To donate to the Rainbow Project, please make your check payable to Ann-Hua Chinese School (or AHCS) and note Rainbow Project (or AHRP) in the memo field. You may either give the check to a member of the project team, or email the team (Rainbow@Annhua.org) for someone to contact you with an address to send your check.Ann-Hua Chinese School is a 501 C(3) not-for-profit organization registered with the state and federal government. Your donations to Ann-Hua Chinese school are tax deductible. Please consider the following opportunities when you decide to make a donation to AHRP.
Here is a list of corporations that do (Note: That is a link to another not-for-profit organization's page. But the list is universally applicable.) If you work for any one of the corporations on that list, you may work with your company's human resources department to double your donations to Ann-Hua Rainbow Project, as we operate under Ann-Hua Chinese School as a not-for-profit institution. Before filling out your company's matching gift form, please contact a Rainbow Project team member for a detailed procedure. Please note that PayPal charges a 2.5% plus $0.30 fee per transaction. Ann-Hua Rainbow Project can exchange Dell, HP and Lexmark printer cartridges for office supplies. While protecting the environment, you help the kids in poverty at the same time. |
